About Us

In 1962 a group of water ski addicts formed the Crandon Ski Serpents club. The club transformed into Crandon Water Shows several years later and remains a dedicated group of skiers who work very hard to maintain the history of quality water shows for the area. As equipment has improved, the acts become bigger and faster, with 3 tiered pyramids and many barefoot acts now incorporated into the shows. There is nearly a 60 year ages span in members, all united by a love of the sport, a dedication to presenting an exciting show, and an enthusiasm for training new skiers to become the best they can be. Practices begin in June, the show schedule begins in late June and continues through late August. Members take a “pride of ownership” in the club, maintaining boats, equipment, and costumes. They run the organization professionally and plan year-round for a summer of water shows in the northwoods.
